Primitive Camping at its Best!

This was my very first ever camping trip and I was very nervous. We went to check in at the office and the park ranger was awesome! He gave us lots of great info and tips. And so we began our 2.5 mile hike in to the Family Campground. The site was secluded, peaceful, beautiful, everything I dreamed it would be. The kids had a blast, the hubby was happy and i was the most rested and relaxed that I'd been in ages! The racoons had our weiner dog a little on edge but besides that, she had a great time too! :-)
Amenities: vault toilet. That's it. Bring water or be prepared to take long walk to have something to drink.
We stayed here in a Tent.
