Summer family trip in jeopardy as my brother has a criminal record.
Hi,
I am going with my family in our trailer truck to the US coming summer. My brother had served a one month term in the prison in 2015. While we were searching if that would deny him entry into the US, I found that in such cases
one must get a US entry waiver
.
He was convicted for frequent traffic violations. But he changed now and never has been in any trouble ever since. So, will it be hard to get the waiver? I read that it may take 6 to 18 months. But how likely is it going to get approved? It's been only 2 years. Does anyone have an idea on this?

Sorry, but I don't know how that works, as I've always been here, but if they evicted all the people in this country that had a record, we'd lose about a third of the population. :(
