Here is an easy recipe that I found on Pintrest. For your crock pot. I bring all the dry ingredients in zip bags. All the wet in a jar. Meat in a zip bag.
Crock Pot Korean Beef.
1 1/2 pounds Flank steak , cut into strips. 1/4 cup cornstarch. 2 cloves fresh garlic minced. 1/2 cup soy sauce. 1/2 cup beef broth. 3/4 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup onion , chopped. 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, or to taste if you like it hot. 2 Tablespoons sesame oil.
Put the cornstarch into the zip bag with the flank steak. And shake to coat. Put the sesame oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar onion and pepper flakes into the crock pot. Add the coated flank steak and stir to blend.
Cook on high for 2-3 hours or on low for 4-5 hours until cooked throughout and almost fall a part tender.
We put it over cooked white rice. Makes dinner easy to start before we go out for the day. Just cook the rice when we get back. |
