| Caters to RV's, Nice ammenities, Open all year | We've been going here in Feb with our VW club for quite afew years. We camp in our classic VW vans. They give us a nice loop to set up. All sites in the campground have elec/water/cable (including tent sites). In season, rates are on the upper end and there is a 5 night min stay in the summer. I have tent camped here many years ago as well. Nice area and lots to do nearby. Campground has indoor heated pool, hot tubs and sauna. Bathhouses are heated in the winter. Can be loud if snow....snowmobiles everywhere. This campground draws lots of NY'ers as seasonals. We always enjoy our visit.

We found this place when our original plans to camp on the Delaware River at the Tohickon Whitewater Release were thwarted by flood waters. We approached the owner to let our VW club camp for the weekend. Not only did he hook us up with great rates and firewood, he let us camp even though he wasn't open for the season! The campground is totally wooded and right on the canal path for hiking/biking. It's on the side of the hill, though. Didn't see a playground or anything for the kids to do, which is a negative for families. We hope to possibly plan an annual event there in the future, but it will always be our backup for the Tohickon release weekends! It's in a great location near ringing rocks, New Hope flea markets and a cool winery! Lots to do! We stayed in a VW Vanagon

| Scoped this place out and will be staying in August | We were looking for a place to hold a group campout for our VW Club. This place was on our list of contenders. My husband and I, and another couple showed up to check it out. At first glance, it looked run down. You pull in and there is sites in a large open field for RV's with full hookups. Yuck. Went into the office to talk to someone. She was friendly and nice. She told us they had a group area right across at the edge of the baseball field. It had rained recently and looked wet. Still not a nice place and I wasn't impressed. She then told us we could go up the hill to what they called the 'remote' tent sites. Well, It was on the top of the ridge and it was HEAVEN up there! It was a hot sunny day, yet the breeze was blowing. When we got into the woods, it was easily 10 deg. cooler. It was flat up there and the closest seasonal was in view, but very far. Bathhouse is right there and brand new! Can't wait to camp!
