| Pleasant campground close to Hood River | Well shaded and out of the wind that this area is known for. Tent area is rather open so there's little privacy. Bathrooms and everything else were in good shape, well maintained. Only complaint was campgrounds are near train tracks and a train goes by about every half hour all day and night. They're not so close that your teeth rattle, but they're close enough.

| Beautiful area, nice site | Large campsites, on or near the Salmon River. Water is from a community hand pump well. Pit toilets. Campground is subcontracted to a vendor. There is a contractor employee on site to collect fees and maintain grounds. Only complaint was there seemed to be a fair amount of litter around.

| Huge, well-run campground | My preference is generally for smaller campgrounds, and this one is more like a city or refugee camp than a campground. That being said it is clean and well maintained. There is restaurant/BBQ on site as well as lots of things to entertain kids.

Casper is not exactly what I would call a vacation destination, but this campground is decent if you need to pull off the road for the night. The wind howls through this part of the prairie and they've accomodated tent campers with shelters and wind breaks.

Beautiful location in pine forest, well maintained, but not deluxe accommodations. Community well, pit toilets. Good location to headquarter your tour of the park. Close to Old Faithful, Yellowstone Lake and the Grand Tetons.

| Just a place to pitch a tent | Tent site for $33, had no parking spot, no table. Bathrooms were in good shape, but a fair walk away. Wi-fi was only available very close to office.

| Adequate, but poorly maintained | Located on a beautiful spot on the Snake River with large shade trees and grass. Unfortunately the bathroom facilities were not adequately maintained. Two of the three sinks in the men's room were broken, and not very clean. Cost was low for a state park, $24, so I guess you get what you pay for.

This is primarily an RV park but they also have a very nice tent area with lots of shade and well-maintained grass. The staff is friendly and helpful and restrooms are clean and well-maintained, and their rates are very reasonable.
